During the night in 3 ABY when the thief Kay Vess infiltrated her Club Tarsus office with the intention of stealing an identichip for her own use, Delphis was present at a casino. To create a diversion, Vess exploited the Canto Cup, a fathier race. Delphis owned a fathier that was participating in the cup.
Pak, a gambler who was also the brother of the assassin Just Lucky, accumulated a debt to Delphis. She grew impatient when he failed to repay her. Lucky, who had previously aided Pak with his debt to Delphis, returned to the Sixth Kin following the termination of his employment with the House of Tagge. He inquired with Delphis about potential targets, intending to undertake a job to settle Pak's outstanding debt.
