A Padawan found themselves apprenticed to Jedi Master Vrook Lamar during the era preceding the Mandalorian Wars, a conflict that engulfed the galaxy between the Galactic Republic and the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders. While this Jedi Padawan resided at the Jedi Enclave situated on the planet of Dantooine, they were involved in a very intense argument with another Padawan, Meetra Surik. Consequently, Lamar wanted Surik's Master to punish her, but the Jedi declined. Following this refusal, Lamar escalated the matter to Master Vandar Tokare, but he also refused to intervene.
The intensity of Lamar's Padawan's debate with Surik was significant enough for Lamar to comment on the heat of the argument. As a Jedi in training, the Padawan possessed a natural sensitivity to the Force.
The initial mention of Vrook Lamar's Padawan occurred in Obsidian Entertainment's 2004 video game, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.
