The chance cube of Watto was a personal chance cube that belonged to Watto, the Toydarian junk dealer. This cube, possessing three sides colored in blue and the remaining three in red, only presented two outcomes when rolled. Given Watto's penchant for gambling, the cube was frequently used, resulting in its colors becoming dull and its edges becoming rounded.

The destiny of Anakin Skywalker, an enslaved human boy, was significantly determined by the cube in 32 BBY. Qui-Gon Jinn, a Jedi Master, sought to take Anakin away to train him as a Jedi because of his strong connection to the Force. Watto employed his chance cube to determine whether he would wager his ownership of the boy or his mother, with blue signifying Anakin and red signifying Shmi. Unaware that Jinn was a Jedi, Watto did not realize that Jinn manipulated the Force to guarantee the cube landed on blue. This event led to Anakin's eventual freedom after Jinn's victory in the Boonta Eve Classic.
