Zherron, a male Human, held the rank of captain within the Khoonda Militia located on Dantooine around 3951 BBY. Known for his directness in both communication and action, Zherron had little patience for drawn-out discussions or wasted time. He, alongside Terena Adare, was seen as a crucial figure in maintaining the stability of the Khoonda settlement.
Zherron's leadership style was characterized by his straightforward, no-nonsense approach. His aggressive stance towards the mercenaries on Dantooine led some, including his own second-in-command Berun Modrul, to question whether he was deliberately provoking them. Simultaneously, his dedication to the Khoonda government and Terena Adare's pursuit of peace for the settlers prompted others to think he wasn't doing enough to address the mercenary threat. Without the knowledge of most, Zherron had secretly installed cameras within a series of atmospheric sensors intended for the mercenaries to steal, with the intention of using them for surveillance. He also maintained a working relationship with the mercenary Dopak, although the specifics of their partnership remain unclear. Zherron firmly believed in the extreme danger posed by the mercenaries, justifying any measures to neutralize them. He viewed those who advocated for appeasement, like Berun, as naive and detached from reality.
The management of Dantooine's substantial salvager population also consumed much of Zherron's and the militia's time and resources. The militia consistently grappled with issues such as the exploitation of settlers, the presence of dangerous criminals like Gerevick, and conflicting claims over recovered salvage, leading Zherron to adopt a resigned outlook on matters involving salvagers.
Events ultimately vindicated Zherron's concerns about the mercenaries when Azkul unveiled his scheme to assault Khoonda. Berun and other critics swiftly retracted their objections, and Zherron, aided by Meetra Surik, began to prepare the militia to defend against the impending attack. Not known for his oratory skills, Zherron deferred to Surik to deliver an inspiring address to rally his troops. During the ensuing Battle of Khoonda, Zherron's forces performed admirably, successfully repelling the mercenaries and eliminating Azkul.
When the Telos Security Force issued a plea for assistance during the Battle of Telos IV, Zherron responded by leading a small detachment of militiamen from Dantooine to provide support (possibly reinforced by Dopak and his mercenaries). On Citadel Station, he spearheaded the assault aimed at breaching the Sith blockade.
It's possible for the player to inform Terena Adare about Zherron's clandestine surveillance of the mercenaries, which can result in his removal from his command and the promotion of Berun Modrul to his position. However, Zherron is reinstated once the mercenaries reveal their plans for an attack.
If the player aligns with the dark side and sides with Azkul, Zherron will be killed while defending Khoonda.
