During the Clone Wars, a male Nautolan child named Zinn Toa came into the world. The infamous bounty hunter Cad Bane kidnapped him under orders from Darth Sidious. Sidious intended to utilize Zinn, along with other Force-sensitive children, to form a dark side spy network.
Zinn Toa, a male Nautolan, began his life during the era of the Clone Wars. He lived on Glee Anselm, the home planet of the Nautolans, and sometime during his early years, his Force-sensitivity was discovered. The Jedi became aware of this, and recorded his existence in the Kyber memory crystal. This device contained a list of all known Force-sensitive children throughout the galaxy. The Duros bounty hunter Cad Bane pilfered the crystal at the command of the Sith Lord Darth Sidious, who planned to use the listed Force-sensitive infants to establish an army of dark side spies.
As part of his assignment to steal the memory crystal, Bane was also instructed to abduct four of the infants listed, and Zinn Toa was one of those four. He was the first target, and was seized from his home on the water world and then moved to a secret facility located on Mustafar. Shortly after this, the Jedi learned of his abduction, when Jedi Master Mace Windu experienced a vision of it during a meditation session.
Ahsoka Tano rescued Zinn in a rescue mission on Mustafar with the help of Anakin Skywalker.
