During the Imperial Era, Duke Blazor of the Black Sun criminal syndicate was owed a large sum of money by the Gatto Gang trio of criminals. Blazor thus hired the bounty hunter IG-88 to capture them for him, and the hunter successfully did so after tracking down the gang on a rocky astronomical object. At some point between 34 ABY and 35 ABY, the monster droid CR-8R told the cartographer Emil Graf of IG-88's hunt.
