Erta was a human female who was the girlfriend of Moona during the High Republic Era. In 382 BBY, shortly before the Battle of Jedha, Moona promised Piralli to introduce him to Erta.
During the High Republic Era, Erta and the Twi'lek Moona met and they eventually became girlfriends. Moona's friend Piralli noticed that Moona visited the tapbar Enlightenment less than she did before she had known Erta.
In 382 BBY, Erta and Moona planned to meet in the tapbar Enlightenment on the moon Jedha. Shortly before the Battle of Jedha, the Sullustan dock worker Piralli talked about his and Moona's friend Keth Cerepath and that Cerepath spent too much time with Silandra Sho. When Piralli called San Tekka Cerepath's new friend, Moona told Piralli that she also had a friend and she wanted Piralli to meet her.
Erta was first mentioned in the first part of the short story "Tales of Enlightenment: No Such Thing as a Bad Customer" and first appeared in the second part. The story was written by George Mann and published in the 217th and 218th issue of Star Wars Insider on March 14 and May 2, 2023 as part of Phase II of Star Wars: The High Republic.
