The BTY-180 carrier, also referred to as the Pre-Mor Authority Carrier, or the Preox-Morlana personnel carrier, represented a class of troop transport vessel. These were owned and operated by the Pre-Mor Authority. The Pre-Mor Enforcement utilized them for transportation to various territories and star systems under the Preox-Morlana's control. During the Imperial Era, specifically in 5 BBY, one such carrier transported three teams of Corpos, including Deputy Inspector [Syril Karn](/article/syril_karn], to Ferrix. These teams were deployed to execute the operation aimed at capturing Cassian Jeron Andor.
Until 5 BBY, the Pre-Mor Enforcement employed the Preox-Morlana personnel carrier, an armed multi-ship with hyperdrive capabilities, as a personnel carrier. Its shape was pyramidoid, featuring a forward-facing bridge and a hangar that could accommodate 4 Mobile Tac-Pods. These pods were accessible from an atrium located on the ship's lower decks. A ventral dual laser turret was positioned directly beneath the docking assembly. A communications unit was mounted on the rear of the ship, directly behind the turret. The Preox-Morlana corporate authority's emblem adorned the front deck, which was also equipped with two forward-facing heavy laser cannons.
The ship's interior was relatively spartan and functional, designed for military use. Weapon racks and cargo sockets were present on numerous walls, and the docking atrium, at least, lacked seating.
