Puriv was a Stromma who served the Empire of the Hand as a stormtrooper of the Stromma contingent. He understood the Quesoth species' Quesoth Soldier Speak language. In 8 ABY, after Stromma Council Liaison Nyama ordered all Stromma to withdraw from Imperial service, Puriv left the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer Admonitor to uphold the honor of his family, as staying would shame them according to fellow Stromma stormtrooper Lhagva. Lhagva himself did not leave, and later explained Puriv's departure to Imperial Line Lieutenant Dramos Sanjin.
