Star Wars Adventures: Tales from Vader's Castle #2 represents the second installment in the Star Wars Adventures: Tales from Vader's Castle comic book miniseries. IDW Publishing published this comic, featuring writing by Cavan Scott and illustrations by Derek Charm along with Kelley Jones, on October 10, 2018.
Initially, Cavan Scott, the writer, considered creating a parody of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein novel from 1818. However, he eventually chose to parody Bram Stoker's Dracula novel from 1897, due to the fact that Sir Christopher Lee, the actor who portrayed Count Dooku, gained significant recognition for his role as Count Dracula in various Hammer films.
