On the Star Herald, BB-00 "Boo" and CR-8R "Crater" were arguing over his construction work. Emil Graf told them too cool it off even though Boo was hurling insults at Crater. Graf told Boo that Crater was right and that he cannot be rude like that. Cooling off reminded him of a story that he had heard.
Decades earlier, a sergeant in the army of the Alliance to Restore the Republic named Maxim was observing a tauntaun named Reebak to train. When Reebak went to go eat food she was pushed away by other tauntauns because of her abnormally long tail. She went to sleep in a cave. But then she was attacked by a wampa who chased her until she fell off a cliff.
Later that day, Maxim noticed a weird bundle of snow at the bottom of the cliff and went to go investigate. He discovered the tautaun there, unconscious and slowly dying. He called in a to come rescue her.
Two weeks later, Reebak had recovered and grown close with Maxim. Reebak was ready for training. Maxim taught her to be able to carry Alliance personal.
But then the Galactic Empire launched an attack on Echo Base. Imperial Cold weather assault stormtroopers were firing on the Rebel evacuation starships. But Reeback and Maxim came to the rescue and took out the snowtroopers. The Rebel Alliance was able to escape as Darth Vader, with his red lightsaber ignited.
Back on the Star Herald, Crater asked what happened to Reebak. Graf told him that Reebak was able to escape and became a rebel hero. Graf then went to Boo and said that sometimes we can use our differences in different ways. But Boo still believed it was right.
