Greetings, Tomotron! ## Concerning Mandalorians Please be aware that due to their ongoing civil war, the Mandalorians themselves are not participants in either side of the conflict. Fan26 (Talk) 22:38, October 19, 2018 (UTC) ## Regarding the Lightsaber Duel This isn't about the Luke/Kylo situation. Reviewing the history of the legends lightsaber duel page, the complete list of duels was undone three separate times in the past. So, why would it be acceptable to re-add it now? I'm not diminishing your editing efforts, as it clearly took time, but it's ultimately unnecessary given the existing category for duels. --Lewisr (talk) 00:21, January 9, 2019 (UTC) ## Important Notice: Sourcing Thank you for your contributions to Wookieepedia! A recent edit of yours added information to a mainspace article that lacks verification. All additions to Wookieepedia must be verifiable through a reliable source, as stated in our sourcing policy. Unverified information may be removed. Repeatedly adding unverified information may result in an administrator blocking your editing privileges. Thank you. --DarthRuiz30 (talk) 00:21, January 9, 2019 (UTC) ## About Talk Pages It is important that you refrain from deleting messages on talk pages or other discussion areas. All messages are considered part of the public record and must be accessible. Thank you for your compliance. - Cwedin(talk) 02:07, February 1, 2019 (UTC) ## Regarding Wulff Yularen Listing him is unnecessary, as he's already included in Anakin Skywalker's task force, which is already listed. Only one listing is required. --Lewisr (talk) 10:45, February 8, 2019 (UTC) ## Concerning Bleeding I'm not convinced it's the same concept. I don't believe he is literally causing them to bleed. --Lewisr (talk) 13:12, February 8, 2019 (UTC) ## About Tagge While he held the rank of Grand General, that doesn't automatically qualify him as a commander in the Galactic Civil War. What actions did he undertake during the GCW? None of the Vader comic content depicts him commanding forces against the Rebel Alliance. --Lewisr (talk) 13:18, March 26, 2019 (UTC) ## Image Uploads While we appreciate all contributions made in good faith to Wookieepedia, we kindly request that you consult Wookieepedia:Images and become acquainted with the requirements for sourcing and licensing before you upload any more images. Special:Upload, the only supported method for uploading to Wookieepedia, will prompt you to provide this information. Violating the image policy repeatedly or providing false information in an upload description is considered vandalism and may lead to a block. Thank you. --DarthRuiz30 (talk) 08:29, April 20, 2019 (UTC) - Just a heads up for future uploads, no worries. -- DarthRuiz30 ( talk ) 10:07, April 20, 2019 (UTC) ## Regarding TIE Fighter Owners' Workshop Manual Could you please indicate the specific location on that website where this information can be found? Is there a preview available? --DarthRuiz30 (talk) 06:45, May 4, 2019 (UTC) - Consider this advice before someone else warns you. If the information is not present on the website, avoid using the ref tag. You must create a new reference utilizing that website. I noticed you added several appearances using a misleading source, which could be interpreted as speculation and removed. I suggest creating a new reference and replacing all the Speedy Hen tags with the Haynes website tag. -- DarthRuiz30 ( talk ) 06:57, May 4, 2019 (UTC) Thanks for using the correct sources.--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 07:37, May 4, 2019 (UTC) ## Concerning RE: Pellaeon "'Even though his radio transmission gets cut off there, I'm not trying to say that Pellaeon would be dead,' Filoni said. 'I don't think that's it for him. I would like to see other stories with the guy.'" Filoni is expressing his desire for other authors to continue the character's narrative. His interview with a non-official website is not considered an official source for Wookieepedia. Anıl Şerifoğlu (talk) 02:29, May 8, 2019 (UTC) ## Regarding Imperial Army trooper On which page of the book Rise of the Separatists can the name be found? --Jkirk8907 (talk) 07:36, June 23, 2019 (UTC) - It's actually Dawn of Rebellion, not Rise. I noticed you, Tomotron, added that Dawn provides the name for the Imperial Army soldier. Could you provide the specific page in the book where this information is located? I've been searching for it without success. -- DarthRuiz30 ( talk ) 08:06, June 23, 2019 (UTC) Did you ever manage to find the page that lists the Imperial Army trooper?--Jkirk8907 (talk) 09:42, June 24, 2019 (UTC) Given the absence of a response, and the fact that both Lewis and I have reviewed the book four times, the page will soon be reverted to the conjectural name. If you have the exact page number, please inform us before we make the change. --DarthRuiz30 (talk) 23:15, June 25, 2019 (UTC) ## Concerning Re: Lightsaber article Hello, my reason for reverting your edits differs. Your revision eliminated the first instance of several references, leading to multiple reference errors later in the article, as shown in the Notes and references scrollbox. I also suggest using a more detailed edit summary when making such extensive removals. Regards, 1358 (Talk) 21:39, July 9, 2019 (UTC) Please be aware that your signature currently violates Rule 1 of our Signature policy. Please correct it promptly. Thank you, Imperators II(Talk) 17:57, July 13, 2019 (UTC) ## Signature Hello Tomotron. This message serves to inform you that your customized user signature is in violation of our Signature policy, which limits custom signatures to a single image. Please adjust your signature accordingly. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 19:16, July 13, 2019 (UTC) ## SWTOR Hi, I am checking if the cleanup was performed correctly, considering the large amount of information removed. Are you confirming that the appearances are already documented in the other expansion articles, or are you simply removing them without verification? --DarthRuiz30 (talk) 20:59, July 13, 2019 (UTC) - Thanks, I appreciate the confirmation. I was concerned that a significant amount of information was removed without verifying that it was already correctly placed. -- DarthRuiz30 ( talk ) 01:39, July 14, 2019 (UTC) ## Infobox I reverted based on this guideline. Bullet point 6 states: "…the "Affiliations" field of infoboxes shall list sub-bullets to a maximum depth of one (example: *Galactic Empire **Stormtrooper Corps). This is done for aesthetic reasons with regard to article presentation in the Fandom skin." Only the Galactic Republic and the Task Force should be listed. Personally, I think Republic Navy should be listed instead of Task Force, but that's just my opinion. --DarthRuiz30 (talk) 04:04, July 16, 2019 (UTC) - I agree. Yularen can use the most general affiliation since he didn't only serve in Anakin's task force. It's perfectly acceptable to use Republic Navy instead of just the Task Force. This wouldn't be the case for someone like Dao, who only commanded one fleet. That's why Dao has the fleet listed instead of the Republic Navy. -- DarthRuiz30 ( talk ) 04:14, July 16, 2019 (UTC) ## Regarding RE:Thrawn Treason No worries, I understand. These things happen. Have a good one! --Vitus InfinitusTalk 14:36, July 23, 2019 (UTC) ## Concerning RE: Interdictor Apologies, I was busy and didn't see your message until now. The Interdictor appears to have hangars, but do we know if it carries TIEs? While it's likely, there's no confirmed information. That's why I removed the TIEs. As for the gravity wells and engines, I believe it has four gravity wells and seven engines, with three as the primary engines. --DarthRuiz30 (talk) 07:42, August 5, 2019 (UTC) ## Pertaining to Legends Sith I'm fairly certain that part of the reason for the state of those pages is that they are/were status articles, implying there was likely a specific reason for their configuration. --Lewisr (talk) 11:48, August 20, 2019 (UTC) ## Regarding Re: Abbas Assi Please be sure to review Wookieepedia's Civility policy, which identifies calling for blocks on other users and making judgmental comments about other users' contributions (e.g., calling edits "crap") as examples of incivility. If you notice poor or detrimental edits, please report the issue to an administrator, as you've done, and trust that it will be handled appropriately. Please refrain from personal comments. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 04:26, August 23, 2019 (UTC) ## Pertaining to Sith lightsaber That information can be found in Star Wars: Rogue One: The Ultimate Visual Guide. --Lewisr (talk) 14:37, August 26, 2019 (UTC) - No problem! -- Lewisr ( talk ) 14:44, August 26, 2019 (UTC) ## Hello Hey Tomotron, I saw that you finished removing SWTOR's base game appearances. Thank you, and I appreciate your work. Here's a cookie as a token of my appreciation. ## Concerning Fallen Order NPCs I've initiated a discussion Talk: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order about the questionable notability of some NPC articles. Please share your dissenting argument there. Winterz (talk) 22:15, November 25, 2019 (UTC) ## Pertaining to Purge troopers clone trooper Is there a source confirming that Purge Troopers wear clone trooper armor? --Lewisr (talk) 04:35, November 27, 2019 (UTC) - Understood. -- Lewisr ( talk ) 04:44, November 27, 2019 (UTC) ## Pertaining to Death troopers I understand, but for the same reason we didn't include Imperial Intelligence as appearing in those episodes, I wouldn't list Intelligence as an affiliation for death troopers that are specifically only appearing as guards for the Tarkin Initiative. --Lewisr (talk) 23:21, November 27, 2019 (UTC) ## Vibroblade Edit Hello, I was wondering what weapon Mando used during his fight with Paz Vizla. I thought it was a vibroblade because it was vibrating, and Mando's page lists a vibroblade as one of his weapons. --Christhewalrus (talk) 03:18, December 2, 2019 (UTC) ## Concerning Grand Inquisitor's lightsaber My point isn't whether it exists, but that even the book states it's speculative. It says, 'The process of construction of The Grand Inquisitor's lightsaber was unknown,' 'It was possible that,' and 'however, it may have been issued.' If something is unknown, we generally omit it, similar to how we wouldn't include someone's ultimate fate if the source also states it's unknown. --Lewisr (talk) 13:53, December 10, 2019 (UTC) ## Crystals No problem - I assume it's because you couldn't delete the initial redirects to move the Legends versions. Moving is usually straightforward, but it can be tricky with two versions of the same subject and redirects. Administrators can always help when needed. - Sir Cavalier of One(Squadron channel) 13:28, December 14, 2019 (UTC) ## Form V No problem, thanks for pointing it out! The page has been that way since 2015, so it's good that it's been corrected. --Lewisr (talk) 03:35, December 15, 2019 (UTC) ## Your signature Hello Tomotron. This message is to inform you that your user signature is in violation of our Signature policy, which requires user signatures to "include your actual, full username." Your signature shouldn't include "Darth," as it's not part of your username. I'm asking you to revise your signatures on the Mister/Miss Star Wars vote pages to avoid us having to strike them per the contest rules. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 01:26, December 17, 2019 (UTC) - No problem. Thanks again. Toprawa and Ralltiir ( talk ) 02:25, December 17, 2019 (UTC) ## Project Stardust Understood, fair enough. It shouldn't have been there initially, but at least it's gone now. --Lewisr (talk) 15:56, January 2, 2020 (UTC) ## Regarding RE:Edit What is the specific issue? --DarthRuiz30 (talk) 09:45, January 26, 2020 (UTC) - Okay. Were you trying to do this or something else? I think the organization and history sections need to be "beefed up." I plan to contribute soon. --Vitus InfinitusTalk 14:44, February 7, 2020 (UTC) ## System Cell ## CA sources Please ensure you have all relevant sources, or have confirmed/checked information with someone who does, before nominating an article. Fan26 (Talk) 03:34, February 10, 2020 (UTC) ## Imperial Office of Security article Hi Tomotron, it does have the correct name. 4D6-J-A7's entry on page 7 of Geektionary starts, "An arrogant and mean RA-7 droid, 4D6-J-A7 was stationed at the Imperial Office of Security on Scarif." Geektionary doesn't explicitly state the office is in the tower or that it or 4D6-J-A7 are part of the ISB, so you may need to revise your referencing. Thanks, Tommy Macaroni 21:09, February 13, 2020 (UTC) - Sorry about that, it just takes a bit longer. Cheers, Tomotron (talk) 21:18, February 13, 2020 (UTC) ## WotM Congratulations Tomotron, on winning the Wookieepedian of the Month award this month! Keep up the excellent work! Imperators II(Talk) 16:55, March 1, 2020 (UTC) ## RE:Secutor-class Hey Tomotron, I see your point and looked closer. The info section says Battlecruiser/carrier, but it's referred to as a battlecarrier throughout the section. It's also named as the Secutor-class Battlecarrier in the section heading and first sentence. It's possible that Battlecruiser/carrier means it can be classified as either, and that battlecarrier isn't slang like Super Star Destroyer. Either way, Tommy-Macaroni got the article to good status and will be updating it, so he should determine the best approach, and any objections can be discussed there. Cheers, and thanks for letting me know! --Vitus InfinitusTalk 03:11, March 3, 2020 (UTC) - Same here, thanks! I added battlecruiser to the infobox to include both for now. -- Vitus Infinitus Talk 03:19, March 3, 2020 (UTC) ## Winmey Lenz Hello. You recently flagged my edit about Senator Winmey Lenz of Chandrila as unverified. How can I verify that information? The canon novel Leia clearly states he is the Senior Senator of Chandrila in 3 BBY, so I'm unsure how to verify it. Thanks for the help. I'm new to Wookieepedia and want to help edit, especially when the new Project Luminous content comes out. I'm a big Old Republic fan! Thanks again. Grievous786 (talk) 03:52, April 1, 2020 (UTC) ## Backup links Hi, please provide backup links when adding external links, like Databank entries, as per Rule 10 of the Sourcing policy. UberSoldat93 (talk) 12:25, May 3, 2020 (UTC) ## Jango Does the helmet collection source state Jango is a Mandalorian warrior, or only that he is a Mando? --Editoronthewiki (talk) 13:38, May 3, 2020 (UTC) - Then it should be changed back to the Databank source. Sorry, I misread it and thought there was a mistake. -- Editoronthewiki ( talk ) 13:48, May 3, 2020 (UTC) ## ???? What makes it low quality? Jabba did that to others who resisted, disobeyed, defied, and refused him. He used the Rancor to kill others before Oola. Others have suffered the same fate for refusing Jabba. Why is it considered low quality? I thought adding more information was always good. Are you nitpicking edits and information? Are you saying it has to be high quality to be allowed? Do you only expect high quality? Fandom User (talk) 12:42 May 3, 2020 (UTC) It's ok, I understand. Thank you, and sorry for that. I hate vandals, and some people on other wikis compare me to one, even though I'm not. There are a few people without accounts who aren't vandals. Thank you again, and sorry. It's good to know I didn't do anything wrong. Fandom User (talk) 1:09 Msy 3, 2020 (UTC) ## Proper sourcing While File:Taron Malicos concept art.jpg may be in The Art of Jedi Fallen Order book, that's not the actual source of the new upload. While I agree that lego isn’t canon, the force awakens lego book doesn’t belong in the legends section, does it? Please explain if I am wrong. JediMasterMacaroni (talk) 22:22, September 29, 2020 (UTC) - Thank you! I guess DK readers does make more sense. JediMasterMacaroni ( talk ) 22:36, September 29, 2020 (UTC) ## Remove categories Why did you remove the Pre-Ruusan Jedi Knights and Jedi Consulars categories? It was correct and didn't need to be removed. They were Jedi Knight or Jedi Consular gear vendors, so they are obviously Jedi Knights/Consulars themselves. What does CA mean? Andrewh7 (talk) 06:49, October 22, 2020 (UTC) Andrewh7 ## Reply:Galactic Republic dates It appears the Sith fell and the Republic's reformation began "around" or approximately 1,032 BSW4 (1032 BBY), but
Regarding the restoration of the Republic, according to the Galactic Republic holocron file, the third entry pinpoints 1032 BSW4 (1032 BBY) as the precise year, differing from the other two entries that use "circa." Therefore, it's reasonable to state that the Sith Empire's downfall and the commencement of democratic restoration occurred around 1032 BBY (as suggested by the two "circa" entries), while 1032 BBY marks the definitive completion of the Republic's restoration (according to the third entry). JRT2010 (talk) 08:12, 2 November 2020 (UTC) ## Responding to nonsense The death list page holds some value, given that many individuals rely on unreliable sources for death counts, thus Wookieepedia requires a trustworthy source. ## Thank You I appreciate you correcting the links I modified concerning the Dark Forces Jedi Knight audio dramas. I completely overlooked concealing the "legends" portion of the link. This illustrates why I shouldn't be editing at 2 AM, haha. Infectedzombieguy (talk) 07:07, 13 December 2020 (UTC) ## Galaxy Heroes being none cannon I've finally discovered a way to communicate with you. I kept wondering (I don't want to edit this person's page... how do I contact them?) and then realized that editing the page is the only method. So, could you explain why "Clone Private" is considered a canon rank, even though Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes (SWGOH) isn't canon? I suspect it's just a placeholder, as the game features more recognizable clones like Captain Rex and Commander Cody. Perhaps the developers or someone in charge instructed them to make the change. So, please clarify why you believe "Private" is canon, besides citing SWGOH. However, if you must reference it due to the absence of other sources, feel free to do so. —Unsigned comment by 45.33.135.37 (talk • contribs). ## Dark Jedi CAN Force drain ## Darth Vader - Supreme Commander Promotion (EU) The original STAR WARS Encyclopedia (back when it included EU information) and Kenner's merchandise both indicate that Darth Vader held the title of "Supreme Commander of Imperial Forces." Neither source specifies when he received this broad special commission, as far as I recall. However, the Imperial Sourcebook (which I haven't personally owned but have examined excerpts on Wookieepedia and Reddit, verifying them at a bookstore that has a copy) states that, shortly after the Yavin disaster, Ars Dangor demanded that everyone submit entirely to Darth Vader's authority, who was now officially the second-in-command of the Imperial Forces and whose orders were to be obeyed with the same respect as those of Darth Sidious. This implies that the cyborg was integrated into the standard hierarchy following the Death Star incident. Consequently, the title of Supreme Commander appears to have been conceived and bestowed upon Vader during 0 ABY. He might have held it earlier; the Dark Times comic series and the novel Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader suggest he already possessed a position of power after the Galactic Empire's formation. However, the Emperor might have simply declared that everyone except the oversector governors should obey his apprentice. The fact that Trachta and Tarkin didn't answer to Vader suggests that his position was still informal and that he hadn't yet received his later official rank above them. It seems Supreme Commander and Grand Vizier outrank Grand Moffs in the power structure. —Unsigned comment by Alex of Star Wars (talk • contribs). ## Core name removal on Miskara (individual) Hello. Please note that one of your edits to Miskara removed a Chiss core name, which is essential for the article's context, as it refers to him as "Thrawn" later on.
