A99 aquata breather

The A99 aquata breather, alternatively known as a Jedi breathing device, was a diminutive breathing apparatus. This device featured a small mouthpiece, designed for convenient storage within a utility belt. Its primary function was to provide the user with breathable gas, typically oxygen for humans. The device's sophisticated filters allowed it to function effectively in various challenging conditions, including underwater environments, vacuum, and areas contaminated with certain noxious substances. The small compressed air cylinders provided a supply of oxygen sufficient for up to two hours of use. Jedi Knights frequently utilized aquata breathers during their missions in the field. Numerous variations were developed to accommodate the respiratory needs of non-Human species that required gases other than oxygen, such as the Antiox breath mask specifically engineered for the Kel Dor species. Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi employed aquata breathers during their journey to the underwater city of Otoh Gunga on the planet Naboo. Prior to the Galactic Civil War, an aged A99 breather came into the possession of Grakkus the Hutt, who included it within his assemblage of Jedi relics.
