Airam Platform, a XQ1 Platform utilized by the Airam, was the location where the Galactic Empire attempted to seize a Alliance to Restore the Republic diplomat who was in a meeting with the Airam leaders, all of which occurred during Operation: Clean Sweep.
The Empire dispatched a strike team, composed of Assault Gunboats along with Gamma-class ATR-6 assault transports, with the goal of seizing the ambassador's vessel, the CR90 corvette named Intrepid, and planting explosives on the Corvette afterwards; this was done to prevent the Airam from joining the Rebel Alliance.
The aforementioned event happened before the creation of the Imperial Task Force Vengeance, but it could be interpreted as a preliminary event, or perhaps an initial move, in the conflicting Rebel Alliance operations within the Airam sector.
The space battle illustrated in this mission, including the combatants, is considered C-canon; however, the result is based on the player's choices, making it uncertain. Given the absence of other canonical details, it is reasonable to presume that the battle did not lead to any enduring consequences, such as the obliteration of a starship or the station itself.
