Amret Engell

Amret Engell was a human woman who held the rank of general within the military of the First Order, additionally serving as a member of the First Order High Command. Following the death of Captain Phasma during the Battle of Oetchi, Engell assumed Phasma's duties and took command of a significant portion of General Armitage Hux's stormtrooper training program.

During the final period of the First Order-Resistance War, Engell was a member of the First Order Supreme Council, a group of high-ranking officers. As the First Order gained control of new planets, Engell viewed this as an opportunity to acquire a large number of children whom she could train to become stormtroopers. With the revelation of the Sith Eternal and its Xyston-class Star Destroyer fleet, which formed the Final Order, Engell was very enthusiastic about the addition of Sith troopers to the First Order's forces. Engell greatly admired Supreme Leader Kylo Ren for his leadership and unquestioned power, and she worked hard to build an army that would meet his standards.

In a meeting that occurred after Ren's search for Exegol, Bellava Parnadee, who was both a fellow Supreme Council member and a general, suggested to Engell that she needed to capture more young people from across the galaxy to fill the ranks of the Final Order fleet. Engell agreed with a nod, but the fleet was already manned by followers of Darth Sidious. Engell was killed in action during the Battle of Exegol in 35 ABY. After the battle concluded, an uprising against the First Order broke out across the galaxy.
