Anthan Prime, alternatively referred to as simply Anthan, existed as a gas giant. It was situated within the Anthan system, which itself was part of the Braxant sector found in the Outer Rim Territories. The planets Bastion and Bescane were accessible from Anthan Prime via a hyperspace route. The Anthan Spire, a city serving as a luxurious holiday destination for the ultra-wealthy, was suspended in the skies above the planet.
Several moons circled Anthan Prime. Notably, Anthan 1 was positioned so closely that it resided within the Thanteen Substrata, a component of Anthan's own gaseous atmosphere.
