The Artiodac species's homeworld, Artiod Minor, was situated within the Artiod system, a star system found in the remote Morellian Commonwealth section of Wild Space. Zygerrian enslavers stumbled upon it while attempting to evade the Republic's legal system, and they repeatedly revisited it across the centuries to capture Artiodacs and prepare them to be slaves for sale.
