The Ashas Ree Sith temple, a Sith temple, resided on the planet of Ashas Ree. Within its walls was a relic that functioned as a massive wellspring of strength. Throughout this Sith temple, the relic was protected by numerous snares, triggered both by floor-based pressure sensors and physical contact with the relic. In time, the temple was interred underground, and upon it, a Jedi temple took form, intended to contain the dark power emanating from below.
Despite its long entombment, those dwelling in the nearby outpost knew of tales and myths surrounding the temple. In 34 ABY, the outpost's inhabitants evacuated when Mika Grey unearthed the temple, seeking to secure the relic before the First Order could locate it. Grey became ensnared within the temple by one of its defenses, until she was discovered and freed by Kazuda Xiono, Eila, Kel, and CB-23 from the Colossus some days afterward. Subsequently, the temple met its end when Xiono inadvertently set off a Sith glyph, leading to its complete structural failure.
