The Tehar Attack transpired in 34 ABY when the First Order's military, led by Kylo Ren, committed a massacre in a village located on the planetary body of Tehar. Only Kel and Eila, two young siblings, lived through this event, managing to flee by secretly boarding a freighter.
Ultimately, the children arrived at the Colossus, a fuel depot situated on Castilon. Upon learning that the siblings were spotted on the Colossus, the First Order issued a bounty for their capture and dispatched First Order stormtroopers to the space station to find them. Neeku Vozo, Kazuda Xiono, along with a few Chelidae—inhabitants of the Colossus—aided the children in staging their deaths and deceiving the First Order into thinking they had completely eliminated traces of the assault.
The initial reference to the attack appeared in "The Children from Tehar," which is the sixth episode from the first season of the animated show Star Wars Resistance. This episode was broadcast on November 4, 2018. The name "Attack on Tehar" was first used to describe this massacre in the 2023 reference work, Star Wars: Timelines.
