During the time of the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire, a conflict unfolded on the Voidstar, a _Harrower_-class dreadnought. This vessel, a marvel of technology, had disappeared some years before during the Great Galactic War, only to be found again during the Cold War by both sides. The now abandoned ship held the blueprints for a prototype superweapon, a valuable asset that both the Sith Empire and the Republic wanted.
A strike force from the Empire, led by Darth Marr of the Dark Council, quickly arrived in a Gage-class transport and used an Imperial assault shuttle to board the ship, with the intention of securing the schematics. However, a Thranta-class corvette soon appeared, carrying a Republic team under the leadership of Satele Shan, the Grand Master of the Jedi. They boarded the vessel in a Rendaran-class assault shuttle and moved to cut off the Sith Empire's team.
