The Battle of Bilbringi occurred near the Bilbringi system in the year 25 ABY. It was the result of an ambush orchestrated by the Peace Brigade against the Queen of Empire, a passenger liner.
Working in conjunction with the Yuuzhan Vong, an alien race from beyond the galaxy (extra-galactic in origin) that had attacked, the Peace Brigade boarded the Queen of Empire. Their goal was to seize Elan, a Yuuzhan Vong priestess who was posing as a defector. However, Reck Desh, the leader of the Peace Brigade's team, was unaware that Elan was actually an assassin whose true purpose was to contact the Jedi Order and kill as many Jedi as she could. When the Yuuzhan Vong learned that Desh and his group intended to return Elan to them before she completed her mission, Executor Nom Anor was sent with a Yuuzhan Vong frigate to delay the Peace Brigade's progress.
The situation became more complex when the Thurse, a New Republic carrier, arrived to protect the Queen of Empire, leading to an engagement between the Thurse and the Yuuzhan Vong frigate. Desh, having taken Elan off the Queen of Empire, headed towards the Yuuzhan Vong frigate in one of his shuttles, pursued by the light freighter known as the Millennium Falcon. Executor Anor attempted to prevent the shuttle from reaching its destination, sacrificing numerous of his pilots to allow the Millennium Falcon to recapture the priestess. However, Han Solo, the captain of the Millennium Falcon, discovered Elan's deception, and the assassin met her end, killed by her own bioweapon. Vergere succeeded in escaping in an escape pod. The operation having failed, Executor Anor withdrew his forces, bringing the battle to an end.
Following her escape from the Millennium Falcon during the battle's later stages, Vergere eventually encountered Lumiya, the Dark Lady of the Sith, and together they devised a plan to create a new Sith Lord.
The Yuuzhan Vong invaders would later capture the Bilbringi system in 27 ABY.
