Priest caste

Designated to communicate on behalf of the gods, excluding Yun-Yuuzhan, were the priests. They also interpreted omens to determine divine favor for the warriors in combat. While not having a specific deity for themselves, the priests dedicated themselves to a particular god on behalf of another caste. A common practice among priest caste members involved the "purify" of Yuuzhan Vong individuals tainted by technological items, which were strictly prohibited in Yuuzhan Vong society.

The selection of the Supreme Overlord heavily relied on the priest caste's influence.

A distinct subgroup existed within this caste, known as the Deception sect. This sect comprised followers of the 'Trickster' goddess Yun-Harla and served as spies throughout the galaxy. The Order of Yun-Yuuzhan represented another sect.

The priest caste's involvement became evident at the onset of the Yuuzhan Vong War, coinciding with the Yuuzhan Vong's invasion of the galaxy following the failure of the Praetorite Vong to establish a presence. Harrar participated in a scheme to eliminate the Jedi by utilizing the Priestess Elan as a vessel for a bioweapon attack, though this endeavor proved unsuccessful.

As the conflict progressed, this caste observed a growing number of issues within the Yuuzhan Vong empire, stemming from an increasing belief in the Jeedai heresy among their people.

Following the war's conclusion, the surviving members of this caste departed with their people for the living planet of Zonama Sekot.
