Batuubucha Tea, a tea-based beverage originating from Batuu, possessed a fruit taste profile and was both fermented and effervescent. It was also believed by some to promote well-being. This beverage, enjoyed for centuries by the people of Batuu, eventually became a sought-after drink among the affluent citizens residing in the Core Worlds.
During the year 34 ABY, Batuubucha tea was available for purchase at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, situated within Black Spire Outpost. Strono Tuggs, while serving as the guest chef, offered it at his traveling restaurant known as Tuggs' Grub. Ylena, a Gatherers member on Batuu who supported the Resistance, consumed this tea during a lunch with Dolin prior to his involvement in undermining the First Order's mobile habitat.
Behind the scenes
In the real world, this beverage is available during all meal services at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, located within Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland, but only there. The menu describes it as "Suja pineapple passionfruit kombucha."
