Bela Hara, a Barabel Jedi Knight within the ranks of the New Jedi Order, was a female and shared a unique bond as a hatchmate with both Tesar Sebatyne and Krasov Hara. Her training in the Force was guided by Saba Sebatyne, and she proudly served as a member of the Force-sensitive squadron known as the Wild Knights, an organization established by her mentor. Throughout the Yuuzhan Vong War, Bela actively participated in numerous campaigns, most notably as a member of the ill-fated Myrkr strike team, where she tragically met her end during that mission.
Barabel mating practices made it impossible for Bela to determine if she shared a father with Tesar Sebatyne. However, despite knowing that she was undoubtedly Krasov Hara's sister, the trio always referred to each other as hatchmates, including Tesar. All three received Jedi training from Tesar's mother, Saba Sebatyne. Bela's interactions with her two hatchmates fostered an exceptionally strong connection through the Force, proving invaluable during their time with the Wild Knights, as it enabled them to perceive each other's intentions and emotions in the heat of battle.
After Saba determined that her three apprentices should continue their Force training under Jedi Master Luke Skywalker at the Jedi academy, the Wild Knights embarked on a journey to Yavin 4. However, they discovered that the Yuuzhan Vong had destroyed the academy, forcing the squadron to fight their way through Yuuzhan Vong-controlled territory to reunite with the New Jedi Order.
Master Skywalker then selected the three hatchmates to assist in a mission focused on hunting voxyn. The team's objective was to collect voxyn samples to help Cilghal validate her theory regarding the existence of a shared template for all voxyn. During this mission, a New Republic vessel came under attack by the Yuuzhan Vong, and the hatchmates impressed their fellow Jedi, including Kyp Durron, with their mastery of the Jedi battle meld.
Bela, alongside Tesar and Krasov, volunteered to join the strike team that was heading to Myrkr. Bela became the fourth Jedi to perish on that disastrous mission, succumbing to a bite from an amphistaff. Tesar and Krasov employed telekinesis to keep their beloved hatchmate's body afloat for a while, until they had to use it to draw out wild voxyn. They believed that Bela would have been honored to assist her hatchmates and the remaining members of the strike team in their escape. Shortly after Bela's demise, Krasov was killed when a voxyn spat acid in her face.
