The biosphere zone represented a specific area within the Starlight Beacon space station. This zone featured simulated natural environments originating from several planets situated in the Outer Rim Territories. The intent behind these biospheres was to highlight the varied ecosystems of the Outer Rim, with plans to change them out regularly. During a conclave at the Beacon, Jedi Master Loden Greatstorm and his Padawan Bell Zettifar observed that the biospheres available included a jungle environment reminiscent of Dantooine, and an ice plain similar to that of Mygeeto. After their visit, they spoke to Indeera Stokes and Porter Engle about the biosphere zone upon heading back to the Elphrona Outpost.
