Indeera Stokes was a Jedi Master of the Tholothian species and female during the High Republic Era. She was one of the four Jedi stationed at the Jedi outpost on Elphrona in 232 BBY, alongside Loden Greatstorm and Porter Engle, both Jedi Masters, and Greatstorm's Padawan, Bell Zettifar. After a Nihil raid resulted in Greatstorm being presumed dead, Stokes began to train Zettifar as her new apprentice, even though Zettifar held onto the hope that his original master was still alive.
As a Force-sensitive Tholothian female during the High Republic Era, Indeera Stokes was brought into the ranks of the Jedi Order. Within the Order, she rose to the rank of Jedi Knight. By the year 232 BBY, she found herself stationed at the Jedi outpost on the planet Elphrona, located in the Outer Rim Territories, working alongside Jedi Masters Porter Engle and Loden Greatstorm, as well as Greatstorm's Padawan, Bell Zettifar.
In that particular year, preparations were underway for the opening of the Starlight Beacon space station. Greatstorm and Zettifar made their way to a conclave held at the station, with plans to proceed to Coruscant afterwards. However, the occurrence of the Great Hyperspace Disaster, which created disruptions in hyperspace travel throughout the galaxy, led to a change in plans, and the pair returned to Elphrona. One morning, while finishing Nine-Egg Stew prepared by Engle, Stokes discussed with Greatstorm his intentions to clear out a chromant nest. Following Greatstorm's apparent death during the Nihil raid on Elphrona, Stokes assumed responsibility for Zettifar's training.
Eventually, Stokes achieved the rank of Jedi Master.
Indeera Stokes possessed a unique appearance, being a Tholothian female with pale blue head-tendrils extending from her scaled cranium, complemented by dark skin and vibrant blue eyes. Known for her compassionate nature, she, as a Jedi, frequently supported Greatstorm in the training exercises he designed for Zettifar.
Indeera Stokes demonstrated proficiency in the Force, excelling in both lightsaber combat and telekinesis. Her mechanical aptitude and piloting skills were also notable, allowing her to expertly maneuver both her personal Jedi Vector and Greatstorm's Nova simultaneously.
Stokes was typically seen wearing dark Jedi leathers and wielding a lightsaber with a yellow blade when engaged in combat. Additionally, she piloted her own Jedi Vector.
