Storyline Synopsis

During a journey to Coruscant, Slave I detected an emergency transmission emanating from a ZZ-class freighter identified as the Mingula. Given the crew's lack of response to communications, Fett presumed their demise. Anticipating a potentially lucrative salvage operation, Boba boarded the freighter. Wary of potential threats, he brought along one of his captives, Tsumo. Another captive, Chung, remained within Slave I's holding cell. The freighter's entire crew had perished. They discovered Volpau, a third cousin of Emperor Palpatine, within a death casket accompanied by a royal amulet, alongside the deceased crew exhibiting boils. Ubuugan fleshborers emerged from the corpses, launching an assault on Fett and Tsumo. Tsumo succumbed to the fleshborers' infection. Fett's Mandalorian armor provided protection against the fleshborers. The fleshborers breached the airlock and infiltrated Slave I. Boba incinerated the fleshborers, but the flames caused the power cells to overheat. Consequently, he made his escape through the waste chute. The Mingula detonated, and Slave I retrieved Fett. Presuming the fleshborers were still aboard and that Chung was dead, Boba hurried to the prisoner compartment. He found Chung consuming the deceased fleshborers as a snack. Native to Ubuuga, his species had evolved a resistance to the fleshborers. Fett lost Tsumo in the ordeal, but acquired a royal amulet.
