This planet served as the original homeworld for the human twin siblings, Lyttan Dree and Tamu Dree. Driven by intense hunger, they made the decision to enlist in the Galactic Empire's navy, subsequently entering the Imperial Naval Academy located on Carida.
The initial reference to Boiyuh occurred in the first issue of the Star Wars: Han Solo - Imperial Cadet comic series from 2018. Robbie Thompson authored this issue, which was released by Marvel Comics on November 7, 2018.
