Brea Tonnika, a woman, was one half of the infamous Tonnika sisters, with Senni being her sibling.
During the Clone Wars era, Brea was a wanted fugitive due to a murder she committed while attempting to free an associate from incarceration. Her mugshot was among those reviewed by Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano and Chief Librarian Jocasta Nu as they investigated the theft of Tano's lightsaber by searching through the databases of the Jedi Archives. The search was for the identity of the thief.
Eventually, Brea and Senni encountered Lando Calrissian and caused significant damage to his Coruscant apartment in order to get aboard the Millennium Falcon. They also crossed paths with Han Solo, who would later betray and humiliate them.
In 0 BBY, in the time period leading up to the Battle of Yavin, Tonnika and her sister resided on Tatooine. When Jabba placed a bounty on Solo's head, they ventured to Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina, a drinking establishment situated in Mos Eisley. There, they observed hermit Obi-Wan Kenobi defending his apprentice Luke Skywalker, engaging in a fight with two wanted criminals, resulting in injuries to Doctor Cornelius Evazan and the dismembering of Ponda Baba's right arm. Subsequently, they abandoned their plan to claim Jabba's bounty and instead plotted to steal the Millennium Falcon to escape the planet, having overheard that it was located in Docking Bay 94. Upon arriving at the docking bay, they were forced to conceal themselves upon discovering Jabba's presence. After sneaking out, they resolved to steal a different ship.
Christine Hewett portrayed Brea Tonnika, while Angela Staines played Senni. In real life, Christine and Angela were friends and during the production they were affectionately known as "Space Girls".
