C'borp, serving approximately 4,000 years prior to the Battle of Yavin, held the position of head gunner under Finhead Stonebone on the pirate starship known as the Marauder Starjacker. In 4000 BBY, C'borp manned the ship's laser turret and unleashed fire upon an Ithullian ore hauler carrying precious ore that Stonebone intended to steal. C'borp successfully eliminated the ore hauler's defenses, which included a security force provided by the powerful crime lord Bogga the Hutt. However, while Stonebone's crew boarded the ore hauler to siphon its contents, the Marauder Starjacker was ambushed and its crew, including C'borp, were imprisoned by the sudden arrival of Bogga's flagship, the Enforcer One. C'borp and his fellow pirates were then transported to the Hutt's estate situated on the moon of Vo Dasha, where Stonebone and his crew were offered a deal: exoneration for their piratical activities in exchange for retrieving some Adegan crystals for Bogga from the desolate planet of Ambria. Stonebone accepted, and C'borp accompanied the group to Ambria, along with a team of Bogga's enforcers. They successfully acquired the crystals, but as tensions rose between the two groups over the reward, Jedi trainee Nomi Sunrider attacked the criminals, resulting in C'borp's death.
C'borp served as the primary gunner in 4000 BBY aboard the Marauder Starjacker, a pirate ship commanded by Finhead Stonebone. On one occasion, while serving on the Marauder Starjacker, C'borp took his place at the laser cannons to engage an Ithullian ore hauler piloted by Captain Gruna, which held ore that Stonebone desired to steal. Dreebo, an enforcer working for Stonebone's rival, the crime lord Bogga the Hutt, defended the ore hauler. Despite Dreebo's swift attempt to attack the Marauder Starjacker, his shots missed their mark. Seizing the opportunity, C'borp returned fire, obliterating the enforcer's starfighter. He then shifted his focus to the ore hauler, dismantling its remaining defenses and enabling Stonebone's crew to begin siphoning the ore. Following his successful attack on the ore hauler, C'borp reported to Stonebone, who praised his efforts. However, the sudden appearance of the Enforcer One, Bogga's flagship, surprised Stonebone's crew. Bogga's enforcers seized the Marauder Starjacker and took its crew, including C'borp, as prisoners.
C'borp, along with his fellow pirates, found himself in chains at Bogga's estate on the Aweris system moon of Vo Dasha. Initially threatened, Stonebone's crew was offered a chance at redemption by Bogga if they completed a task for him. The Hutt tasked them with retrieving a shipment of valuable Adegan crystals from the desolate planet of Ambria, which had previously eluded his grasp. Stonebone agreed on behalf of the team, and C'borp and his comrades journeyed to Ambria alongside several of Bogga's elite enforcers. Drawing on knowledge from a prior excursion to Ambria, Bogga and his crew knew that the Adegan crystals were being held at the compound of Jedi Master Thon, Bogga's sworn adversary. As C'borp and the crew disembarked from their skiffs, they were met by Thon, who surprisingly did not attack. Instead, Thon allowed the group to take him prisoner. However, internal conflict soon arose between Bogga's enforcers and Stonebone's pirates, as the enforcers refused to share the profits from the crystals. The verbal dispute escalated into a brawl, with C'borp facing off against Fnnbu, the enforcer who had discovered the crystals in the compound. Unbeknownst to them, their violent emotions were being influenced through the Force by Nomi Sunrider, a young Jedi trainee under the tutelage of Thon. While the two sides were distracted by the physical confrontation, Sunrider ignited her lightsaber and attacked them. C'borp was unable to defend himself against Sunrider and was killed. Ultimately, Sunrider drove them off, forcing the surviving team members to flee Ambria without the crystals.
C'borp demonstrated a willingness to engage in illegal activities by working as a gunner on Stonebone's pirate ship and participating in illicit ore siphoning, taking pride in his work. He was also highly skilled in his role, earning praise from Stonebone. On Ambria, C'borp was easily manipulated by mental Force powers, being influenced by Sunrider to act violently.
C'borp's first appearance was in Tales of the Jedi: The Saga of Nomi Sunrider, a story arc within the Tales of the Jedi comic book series, written by Tom Veitch and published in late 1993 and early 1994. C'borp was featured in the second and third issues of the arc. David Roach provided the illustrations for C'borp in these appearances.
