This specialized group, under the leadership of Cade Skywalker, successfully infiltrated Coruscant in the year 138 ABY and neutralized the planet's space-based defensive systems.
The team consisted of Morrigan Corde, Wolf Sazen, Shado Vao, Rasi Tuum, Sigel Dare, Ganner Krieg, and Azlyn Rae. Leveraging Corde's prior role as Imperial Intelligence Director, Cade's strike force was able to eliminate Coruscant's orbital defenses, thereby compromising its overall defense network. During this operation, Corde eliminated Morlish Veed, who was the commander of the Sith-Imperial forces.
Subsequently, the team advanced towards the Temple of the Sith with their primary goal: the assassination of Darth Krayt. Upon entering the Temple, they encountered a large number of Sith warriors commanded by Krayt's chief subordinates, Darth Talon and Darth Stryfe. During the ensuing combat, Sigel Dare sustained injuries, and Wolf Sazen perished in his duel against Darth Stryfe, although he managed to kill the Sith Lord in the process. Cade triumphed over Darth Talon, who escaped to warn Krayt about Skywalker's arrival and his enhanced Force abilities, with Cade in pursuit. Cade used a Force push to incapacitate her and then confronted Krayt. The two engaged in a fierce duel. During the confrontation, Krayt employed Dark transfer, pushing Cade to the very edge of death. Skywalker experienced a vision of Krayt's future plans—Coruscant in ruins, his companions dead, and himself transformed into Krayt's servant and eventual vessel. Krayt confessed to Cade that Roan Fel's scheme involving Omega Red on Coruscant originated with him, as the Sith were immune to its effects. Reviving Cade, Krayt felt confident that he had successfully corrupted the young Skywalker to the dark side of the Force. Cade declared that he now understood, that he had seen the vision, harbored no doubts, and was now aware of his purpose in the galaxy. Abruptly, he summoned his lightsaber and rapidly moved, impaling Krayt through the heart, ending his life permanently.
