Carn

Sergeant Carn, a male being, served within the ranks of Galactic Alliance Security under the leadership of Captain Savar. He was present for the capture of Jedi Grand Master Luke Skywalker on the galactic capital planet of Coruscant in 43.5 ABY. During this capture, Security officer Bessen discharged a weapon in Skywalker's direction. The projectile missed its target, resulting in Savar reprimanding the officer. Subsequently, he directed Carn to supervise Bessen's disciplinary action. Carn was also on hand during the search for Jedi Knight Valin Horn, who had engaged in a destructive spree across Coruscant following a mental collapse. Once Horn was apprehended, Savar instructed Carn to procure a non-military transport to convey Horn to a nearby healthcare facility.

Biography

Carn was sent to help arrest Jedi Master Luke Skywalker (pictured).

Carn, a male individual, was a member of Galactic Alliance Security, the military arm of the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances stationed on the galactic capital world of Coruscant. Within the Security forces, he held the rank of sergeant and reported to Captain Savar. In 43.5 ABY, Carn was among Savar's Security personnel dispatched to detain Jedi Grand Master Luke Skywalker outside the Senate Building on Coruscant, holding him accountable for his inability to prevent the descent of former Jedi Knight Jacen Solo into the dark side of the Force. During the capture, [Han Solo](/article/han_solo-legends], formerly a smuggler, directed insults at Savar, causing the captain to become rigid.

Dhidal Nyz, a Quarren bounty hunter contracted to assist in the arrest, mistakenly believed that Skywalker was attempting to manipulate the Force to influence the captain, and proclaimed that the prisoner was resisting. This prompted Bessen, one of the officers, to unintentionally discharge a laser blast towards Skywalker. The shot missed its mark, and the situation was quickly brought under control. Savar penalized Bessen, instructing Carn to oversee the trooper's completion of two hundred push-ups followed by a run back to the Galactic Alliance Security blockhouse on foot. Concurrently, the captain transported Skywalker to the blockhouse via transport.

Shortly thereafter, Valin Horn, a Jedi Knight afflicted with a disease that led him to believe that everyone he knew had been replaced with an impostor, was apprehended and confined within the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. However, he escaped soon after and embarked on a destructive rampage through Coruscant. Galactic Alliance Security forces issued an arrest warrant for Horn, and Carn, once again under Savar's command, hastened to the scene. However, Horn was apprehended by Skywalker, who had recently been released from incarceration. Savar and Skywalker debated the appropriate course of action for Horn; Skywalker advocated for his return to the Jedi Temple, while Savar maintained that he was rightfully a prisoner of the Galactic Alliance. They ultimately agreed to place him in the Mon Mothma Memorial Medical Center, situated at a point approximately equidistant between the Temple and Security headquarters. Savar directed Carn to commandeer a civilian vehicle capable of accommodating at least fifteen individuals to transport Horn to the Medical Center.
