The Coruscant Livestock Exchange and Exhibition The Coruscant Livestock Exchange and Exhibition, a yearly tradition, took place on the planet Coruscant. This exposition, renowned as the largest livestock fair across the galaxy, unfolded within the stables, enclosures, and expansive halls of the esteemed Grand Symposium. This exhibition served as a pivotal gathering for animal merchants and traders from every corner of the galaxy. It was a place where numerous transactions, both above board and illicit, transpired amidst the excitement of competitions, auctions, and festive celebrations. The Livestock Exchange provided a unique opportunity for diverse species to expand their knowledge of each other and their respective worlds through the presentation of exotic creatures. In the outdoor exhibit areas, one could find creatures like rontos, kybucks, banthas, and eopies. The avian population included nunas, urusais, pylat birds, and neekoflight. Among the arthropods on display were orbalisks, droch, and energy spiders. Within the Small Animal Hall, creatures such as chitliks, gizkas, twirrls, and voorpaks were showcased. In the ominously lit Dangerous Animal level, one could find reeks, rancors, boarwolves, tusk cats, and nexu. Moreover, the event also featured tauntauns, jerbas, bursas, blurrgs, fambaas, falumpasets, kaadu, shaaks, gualamas, zeer, gundarks, unidentified ungulates hailing from Quermia, common horses, and even ysalamiri.

The widely popular and heavily attended fair provided numerous avenues for smuggling operations and escapes. Each year, numerous unclaimed nunas were seen running wild throughout the venue. Distinguishing between traders and the livestock on display sometimes proved difficult. There were even instances where bewildered traders attempted to purchase Ewok traders who were present at the event.

The severe pollution levels on Coruscant resulted in the deaths of numerous animals unaccustomed to the contaminated air. The thranta, a highly prized creature at the Exchange, struggled to adapt to the atmosphere of Coruscant, having evolved in the pristine atmosphere of its native Alderaan, and the carefully maintained life zone of Bespin, where some had been relocated before Alderaan's destruction in 0 BBY. Tendau Nandon and Dusque Mistflier were recorded to have visited one of these exhibitions prior to 1 ABY.

During the year 43.5 ABY, a violent skirmish erupted at the Livestock Exchange and Exhibition. This incident occurred when Jedi Knight Natua Wan succumbed to the psychosis affecting the Jedi Order. She was visiting the Exhibition alongside Han Solo, Leia Solo, their daughter Jaina, granddaughter Allana, and fellow Knight Radd Minker. Wan released many of the caged animals, hoping to use the chaos to facilitate her escape from the Grand Event Center. Organa Solo was compelled to eliminate five boar-wolves to rescue a young boy who had fallen into their enclosure, and a mother nexu bit down on an Ithorian's leg. Organa Solo fatally stabbed the beast just as the ramps ceased retracting. As widespread chaos engulfed the facility, Jaina Solo engaged in a lightsaber duel with Wan, who was in the process of emptying a bordok cage. Soon, Organa Solo and Minker joined Jaina in the fight, and Minker incapacitated Wan with a forceful head-butt.
