Natua Wan

Natua Wan, a Jedi Knight of the Falleen species, dedicated her service to the New Jedi Order in the era that followed the Second Galactic Civil War. She was known for her preference of adorning her long, dark hair with blue beads.

Biography

Back in 43.5 ABY, Wan was engaged in studies within the Jedi Archives when Jysella Horn contracted a mysterious illness. This illness caused Jysella to have the delusion that everyone around her were impostors. Responding to the request of Jedi Master Cilghal to subdue Horn, Wan hastened to offer her assistance. However, Horn hurled a bust at the Falleen, resulting in her striking a stack of materials and losing consciousness.

Subsequently, Wan, along with Jedi Radd Minker, received orders to patrol the Coruscant Livestock Exchange and Exhibition located at the Grand Event Center, accompanied by Jedi Knights Leia Organa Solo and Jaina Solo. While observing the Dangerous Animals exhibit, Jedi Wan succumbed to the same psychosis observed in the Horn children as well as Seff Hellin. Without informing the Solos (whom she perceived as impostors), Wan promptly proceeded to the control room. There, she deactivated the exhibit's lights and sealed all exits. Following this, she released all of the exhibits, unleashing the dangerous and ferocious animals upon the terrified crowd. Furthermore, she dropped raw meat from the ceiling onto the walkway and initiated the retraction of the catwalk as the Jedi desperately tried to force open the doors.

While Wan was releasing the animals, she employed the Force to project her voice, aiming to distract the "fake" Jedi. Ultimately, the two Solos and Minker located her, leading to a brief confrontation. The duel concluded when Minker collided with Wan head-first, causing her to lose consciousness.

Wan was then transferred to the Jedi Temple detention center, where she was confined to a cell adjacent to that of Raynar Thul. Later on, Natua received visits from Han Solo and Leia Organa Solo. The Falleen attempted to influence Han using her pheromones, imploring him to release her. However, the ysalamiri strategically placed in the Asylum Block thwarted her efforts, and Solo declined her request. Subsequently, Wan, along with the other afflicted Jedi, were transported to Shedu Maad by Organa Solo.

In 44 ABY, Wan, along with the other Jedi affected by the mysterious Force psychosis, regained clarity in the aftermath of Luke Skywalker's first battle against Abeloth on Abeloth's planet. Zekk and Tekli transported them from Shedu Maad back to the Jedi Temple. Wan actively participated in the rescue attempt of Jysella and Valin Horn as a member of the "Team Saav'etu." Disguised as exterminators, the team employed foam coating to obscure the cam bubbles of the facility. They then breached the outer walls utilizing thermal detonators. Upon entering, the team discovered thousands of prisoners preserved in carbonite, including the Horn siblings. Despite facing strong resistance from Galactic Alliance Security forces, the Horns were successfully rescued.

Later that year, in an effort to demonstrate the Jedi's continued trust in her, Luke Skywalker and Jaina Solo entrusted her with the task of researching information on ancient Sith planets, including Korriban and Dromund Kaas. This research was to help them in their efforts to locate Abeloth and Ship. On the final planet the Jedi searched with all their numbers, Upekzar, she was given the responsibility by the Grand Master to investigate the lava tunnels beneath the planet alongside Ben Skywalker and Vestara Khai. Upon encountering a mutated Rhak-skuri and Ben losing consciousness, Vestara intentionally injured Natua so the beast would prey on her instead of Ben. Subsequently, she was seized by the beast and killed, with her body being dragged further into the tunnels.
