CS-9147 was a human hailing from the Otomok system, who served the First Order in the capacity of a jet trooper. During the events of 35 ABY, CS-9147, along with another jet trooper, engaged in a pursuit of the scavenger Rey and her Resistance comrades across the desert landscapes of the planet Pasaana. Although they successfully eliminated their adversaries' skimmers, they ultimately met their demise at the hands of the skimmer's crew.
Born in the Otomok system in 10 ABY, CS-9147 was a human who enlisted in the Stormtrooper Corps of the First Order, specializing as a jet trooper. In 35 ABY, CS-9147, accompanied by another jet trooper, formed part of a division of First Order forces dispatched to the planet Pasaana with the mission of locating the scavenger Rey and her Resistance cohorts. One of the two jet troopers identified their targets making an escape on skimmers from the Festival of the Ancestors situated in the Forbidden Valley and promptly alerted the other First Order units.
CS-9147 and his fellow jet trooper initiated a chase, riding on the backs of two stormtroopers' assigned 125-Z treadspeeder bikes. They detached from the vehicles and commenced firing upon the skimmers. Their targets separated, with Resistance members Finn, Poe Dameron, and C-3PO proceeding down a narrow valley aboard their HS-19 cargo loading transport skimmer. One treadbike pursued them into the valley, while the two jet troopers and the remaining treadspeeder continued their pursuit of Rey, Chewbacca, and BB-8 as they remained in the open desert on an Arunskin 75D skimmer.
Following the destruction of the treadspeeder, Chewbacca successfully shot down one of the jet troopers using his bowcaster. After the two skimmers converged, the second jet trooper managed to obliterate both vehicles, but was subsequently killed when the skimmers' surviving occupants returned fire.
CS-9147's height was measured at 1.8 meters.
CS-9147 was outfitted in white jet trooper armor, which included a NJP-900 integrated jetpack and a helmet. The trooper was armed with a G125 projectile launcher.
The character of CS-9147 was conceived for the 2019 sequel trilogy film, Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker. The character's identification was first established in the companion reference book, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary, authored by Pablo Hidalgo. Although the film features only two jet troopers, the Visual Dictionary lacks sufficient information to discern which of the two is specifically CS-9147.
