Daro was a human who possessed Force-sensitive abilities. During the High Republic Era, Daro was a member of the Jedi Order. In the year 132 BBY, Daro, then a Padawan, participated in a lightsaber combat lesson. This lesson was taught by Jedi Master Lakshay and took place in a training room within the Jedi Temple located on the planet of Coruscant. Daro, along with six other students, practiced a routine using bokken sabers while Lakshay offered guidance. As the students neared the end of their routine, a chime signaled the session's conclusion, which Lakshay promptly announced.
Following the announcement, Daro and the other students bowed to Lakshay. Lakshay returned the bow and then requested that Daro and another Padawan named Rena demonstrate their opening stance before departing. During the lesson, Daro was dressed in white and gold Jedi temple robes, complemented by a brown belt and brown boots. The Padawan's belt featured a green sash, matching the color of their lightsaber.
The character Daro made an appearance in the fourth episode, titled "Day," of The Acolyte, a live-action television series. This episode was broadcast on Disney+ on June 18, 2024. It remains uncertain which of the six human Padawans seen in the class is meant to represent Daro. Prior to the episode's release, a trailer revealing Daro was exclusively presented at Celebration Europe during the Lucasfilm Studio Showcase on April 7, 2023.
