Narglatch, otherwise known as Delphi Kloda, was a pirate of the male persuasion. He held the position of right-hand man to Tasu Leech within the Kanjiklub organization until he was compelled to retire due to injuries.
Kloda established a combat school on the planet Chaaktil. His gym served as a front for both open combat training and clandestine espionage lessons held in the building's lower levels. During this time, he adopted a young girl named Bazine Netal from a Chaako City orphanage. He trained her to be the ultimate weapon, secretly killing anyone with whom she formed an attachment to prevent any emotional hindrance. He dispatched her on various assignments and missions until she eventually became an independent mercenary, allowing him to focus on managing his school.
After a six years absence, which was decades following the [Battle of Endor](/article/battle_of_endor], Netal sought out Kloda to borrow his Gauntlet fighter, known as the Sparrowhawk, for her latest task: recovering a steel case from Jor Tribulus, a retired stormtrooper. Kloda was aware of the suitcase and had been attempting to acquire it himself, as its contents promised a substantial reward. Without revealing his intentions, he agreed to let her use the Sparrowhawk on the condition that she take Orri Tenro, one of his overly inquisitive trainees, along with her. He then tracked the Sparrowhawk to the planet Vashka and confronted Netal just as she retrieved the case from Tribulus' long-dead body.
Kloda revealed his plan to use Netal as a pawn, seized the case, and trapped her in a wax cell created by insectoid Vashkan apidactyls to prevent her pursuit. The mercenary, however, managed to escape and caught up with her former mentor as he fled on a narglatch. She strangled him for his betrayal and then shot the narglatch, retrieving the case from its lifeless form.
Delphi Kloda's initial appearance was in the short story "The Perfect Weapon," penned by Delilah S. Dawson and released as an eBook in 2015.
