A Dragon ship functioned as a capital ship within the forces of the One Sith. Secretly constructed alongside the Annihilator-class starfighters of Emperor Krayt, these vessels were revealed to the galaxy in 138 ABY. This unveiling coincided with Krayt's return to Coruscant after his deposition, seeking to seize back his position from the one he deemed his "most trusted" servant.
Krayt utilized a number of these ships for transport to Coruscant, accompanied by Darth Talon, Darth Nihl, and a contingent of Sith troopers. The ships maintained orbit around the planet while Krayt descended to the surface, where he successfully toppled the rule of his usurper, Darth Wyyrlok, ultimately killed him in combat.
In the months following the Dark Lord of the Sith's restoration to power, Krayt's Dragon ships were deployed in force during the Sith attack on the Hidden Temple belonging to the Jedi. Similar to the Annihilators, the Dragons proved effective at overwhelming both Sith Imperial and opposing vessels.
Dragon ships also saw action during the Battle of Coruscant that occurred in 138 ABY. With the Second Imperial Civil War concluded, Darth Nihl issued orders for the concealment of these ships, integrating them into his strategic vision for the future trajectory of the One Sith.
