Exodeen was a planet located within the Colonies' Exodeen system. This world was positioned along both the Hydian Way and the Nanth'ri Trade Route. Luke Skywalker, an operative of the Rebel Alliance, journeyed to Exodeen aboard the yacht Desert Jewel from the world of Denon, intending to use the Nanth'ri Trade Route to reach the planet Omereth. Upon the Jewel's arrival, Imperial starships were detected within Exodeen's system, leading to the vessel's rapid departure for the world of Nanth'ri.
A planet belonging to the Colonies' Exodeen system, Exodeen was situated at galactic grid coordinates M-12 on the Standard Galactic Grid. It was located on the Hydian Way super-hyperroute, between the worlds of Bellassa and Suntilla, and also lay on the Nanth'ri Trade Route, which linked it to the astronomical object Quellor.
During 0 ABY, Rebel Alliance members Luke Skywalker and Nakari Kelen extracted Drusil Bephorin, a givin cryptologist, from Galactic Empire custody on Denon, a planet in the Inner Rim Territories. Their objective was to reunite her with her family on Omereth, a planet in the Outer Rim Territories. Skywalker planned to navigate the yacht Desert Jewel along the Hydian Way from Denon to Exodeen, and subsequently proceed along the Nanth'ri Trade Route to the planet Nanth'ri.
However, upon the arrival of Skywalker's ship, several Imperial starships, including a Star Destroyer and a heavy cruiser, were present within Exodeen's system. News of the fugitives had spread via the HoloNet communications network. Skywalker promptly instructed his droid, R2-D2, to set a course for Nanth'ri, and the Jewel rapidly departed the Exodeen system.
Exodeen made its debut appearance in Heir to the Jedi, a 2014 novel penned by Kevin Hearne.
