Farsight, also referenced as clairvoyance, far sight, or farseeing, represented a Force ability that granted its wielder the capacity to "see" targets or ongoing events without the literal use of their eyes. This power amplified the user's visual and spatial understanding, even in conditions of complete darkness or through solid barriers. Consequently, individuals could gather information beyond the ordinary sensory range regarding objects, people, locations, or happenings.
Farsight, alternatively known as clairvoyance, far sight, or farseeing, was a power stemming from the Force. It enabled a user to "see" objectives or occurrences without the necessity of their eyes. This heightened their spatial and visual awareness, even in the absence of light or through obstructions such as walls. Consequently, users were able to obtain information through sight, surpassing normal detection capabilities, about an object, individual, place, or event.
During 132 BBY, the Jedi Order included the practice of this power as part of their students' curriculum. At that time, the Sith Lord operating under the false persona of "Qimir" wore a helmet. This helmet significantly reduced his sensory input and provided resistance against mind-reading, necessitating his reliance on the Force while wearing it.
In 22 BBY, Jedi Padawan Anakin Skywalker along with Obi-Wan Kenobi were capable of sensing the events unfolding in the adjacent room where Padmé Amidala was resting. Anakin intervened just in time, bisecting two venomous kouhuns mere centimeters from the senator's face. Both Jedi could perceive and pinpoint the threat without being physically present, and Anakin swiftly neutralized it in the dark.
In 20 BBY, Asajj Ventress, formerly a Dark Acolyte, orchestrated a Nightsister assassination attempt targeting the Sith Lord Count Dooku within his castle located on Serenno. Before confronting Tyranus, Ventress launched a poison dart at the Sith Lord, which impaired his vision. Mistaking his attackers for Jedi, Dooku utilized Farsight to identify their positions and engage them in lightsaber combat. Ultimately, Dooku survived, and the Nightsisters managed to escape.
Certain Nightsisters, notably Mother Talzin and Old Daka, were well-known for possessing clairvoyant talents.

While assisting in the training of the Jedi Padawan Ezra Bridger, Ahsoka Tano removed the kyber crystal from his lightsaber and tossed it into a grassy area. Intending to impart a lesson to the young Padawan, Ahsoka activated her lightsaber and began attacking Ezra. Bridger grew frustrated, unsure of how to locate his crystal while simultaneously dodging Tano's strikes. Closing his eyes, Ezra employed the Force to perceive his surroundings, eventually pinpointing the crystal's location despite Tano's assault. Retrieving his crystal, Ezra ignited his own lightsaber and engaged Ahsoka, having learned to place his trust in the Force's power.
Kanan Jarrus mastered its continuous use under the tutelage of the Bendu, enhancing his spatial understanding despite his blindness. In 0 BBY, Luke Skywalker employed it to deflect blaster fire from a training remote while learning the ways of the Force with Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi en route to Alderaan. Skywalker again utilized Farsight during training with Yoda, who instructed him to navigate the treetops of Dagobah with his eyes shut. After an initial failure, Skywalker completed the course, marveling at his success by relying on the Force instead of his sight, describing his newfound ability to perceive his environment. Yoda himself was proficient in Farsight, as was Darth Sidious.
Rey had the ability to detect and pinpoint the location of nearby adversaries through the Force, without needing to see them with her eyes.
