The name "Frog Lady" was given to a female Querm Rybet amphibian, who was being escorted by Din Djarin.

Back in 9 ABY, the Querm Rybet known as "Frog Lady" found herself on Tatooine inside of Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina. It was there that the Mandalorian, Din Djarin, walked into the cantina looking for a job. At a later time, she spoke with Peli Motto regarding finding someone to transport her from the desert planet to the estuary moon of Trask. She had eggs that required fertilization from her husband. Peli then hired Djarin to escort her. Djarin assisted, but he requested information about Mandalorians seen on Trask. During their journey, Frog Lady rested in the cockpit, unaware that Grogu had become interested in her eggs and consumed some of them.
Following a crash landing on Maldo Kreis, Frog Lady and Djarin had disagreements about what their next course of action should be, partly because of a language barrier. Frog Lady appeared to only be capable of speaking in her native language. However, Frog Lady showed herself to be technically skilled, as she repaired the remains of Q9-0 sufficiently to utilize his vocabulator as a device for translation. This allowed her to convince Din Djarin to honor his commitment.

With their determination refreshed, Frog Lady later ventured into the nearby ice caves. She found and bathed in a naturally heated spring, which helped her incubate the remaining eggs. This tranquility was broken, however, as their presence stirred up numerous ice spiders in the area, including the large and threatening parents of the hatchlings. While fleeing the spiders, Frog Lady displayed a prehensile tongue that she could use to grab objects. She also increased her speed by leaping on all four limbs, in order to more effectively escape the knobby white ice spiders.
After they escaped from Maldo Kreis, Frog Lady aided Din Djarin in trying to land on Trask by pulling a lever to stabilize the thrusters, but it was unsuccessful, and they crashed into the water. After being rescued, Frog Lady exited the ship. Shortly thereafter, she recognized her husband's voice at the docks. The couple were finally reunited, and both the husband and wife expressed their gratitude to Din for his help.
After Din Djarin agreed to assist Bo-Katan Kryze in hijacking a Gozanti-class Assault Carrier, Frog Lady took care of Grogu for a period while her eggs began to hatch. Frog Lady and her husband were later playing with Grogu and one of their newly hatched offspring when Din came back to retrieve Grogu. He thanked her for watching over the Foundling. Frog Lady and her husband went back to bonding with their offspring as Djarin and Grogu left.
Frog Lady was a crack shot and an accomplished droidsmith.
Frog Lady carried a Shard-3A holdout cluster blaster.
"Frog Lady" made her debut appearance in "Chapter 5: The Gunslinger," which was the fifth episode of season one of The Mandalorian. Her role was expanded in "Chapter 10: The Passenger," the second episode of season two. Misty Rosas played the character in costume. Dee Bradley Baker provided the voice acting. In the scene where Frog Lady hopped away from the attacking ice spiders, a CGI version of the character was used instead to convey a sense of clumsiness rather than athleticism.
