Trask

Trask was a moon with an estuary environment. This celestial body orbited Kol Iben, a massive gas giant. The Mandalorian, known as Din Djarin, once transported the Querm Rybet being called the "Frog Lady" along with her developing offspring to this moon from Tatooine. Subsequently, he encountered Bo-Katan Kryze and her group, the Nite Owls, at this location.

Description

Located within the Arkanis sector's Kol Iben system, Trask was an estuary moon circling the gas giant named Kol Iben. Functioning as a black market port, Trask's inhabitants were primarily Mon Calamari and Quarren seeking refuge from the political turmoil of their home planet, Mon Cala. The moon was equipped with numerous landing platforms and an inn that served a dish known as Trask Chowder. A regulation was in place prohibiting ships from ascending into the upper atmosphere while within the harbor area.

History

Din Djarin, a Mandalorian working as a bounty hunter, accepted a mission that required him to transport a passenger and her spawn to her husband, who had chosen Trask as their new home due to its suitability for their species. Upon entering the atmosphere, Djarin was forced to execute a manual landing of the Razor Crest without navigational assistance, resulting in a crash into the shallow coastal waters near the docking area. After the vessel was recovered, Djarin compensated a Mon Calamari dock worker with one thousand credits for the repairs to his ship before venturing into the port town. Djarin facilitated the reunion of the "Frog Lady" with her husband and then proceeded to enter the local inn. He gave Calamari Flan to a Mon Calamari server for information regarding the whereabouts of other Mandalorians. He was then directed towards a Quarren who offered him transportation to meet with a group of fellow Mandalorians.

Din Djarin and Grogu attempt to part ways with Bo-Katan Kryze's Mandalorians

Under the pretense of connecting Djarin with other Mandalorians, the Quarren fishermen lured him onto a fishing boat, but their true intention was to eliminate Djarin and seize his beskar armor. The fishermen attempted to feed Grogu to the mamacore and then tried to drown Djarin. However, they were thwarted by a group of Mandalorians consisting of Bo-Katan Kryze, Koska Reeves, and Axe Woves, who rescued them. The trio had come to Trask to take weapons from an Imperial Gozanti freighter, which they intended to use in their effort to retake their homeworld of Mandalore. Djarin consented to assist Kryze in her mission in return for information concerning the Jedi. Following the successful capture of the Gozanti freighter, Kryze advised Djarin to seek out Ahsoka Tano, a former Jedi Padawan, in the city of Calodan on the planet Corvus.

Equipped with new information about where to bring Grogu, Djarin went back to Frog Lady and Frog Man's home, where he had left Grogu under their care while he was helping Kryze acquire the Gozanti freighter. Djarin retrieved Grogu and went back to the Razor Crest, which had undergone partial repairs by the dock worker. Disappointed with the limited repairs performed on the Razor Crest, Djarin made the decision to return to Nevarro for more extensive repairs. He and Grogu boarded their ship and departed Trask, heading towards Nevarro.

Behind the scenes
