Gargovik served as a TIE fighter pilot of human descent within Squadron Three. This squadron was a part of the Galactic Empire's 204th Imperial Fighter Wing throughout the duration of the Galactic Civil War that pitted the Empire against the New Republic. During 5 ABY, Gargovik was among Captain Wisp's TIE pilots, operating from the bulk freighter known as the Yadeez. He maintained a close, personal bond with Duchas Cherroi, a fellow pilot in Squadron Three; the two were frequently observed in each other's company when not actively engaged in missions.
The character of Gargovik was introduced in Victory's Price, a novel published in 2021 by Alexander Freed.[2]
