Gevion

Sauvax laid siege to the Gevion. The Human settlers from the planet Leritor utilized the Gevion, a combine-reaper, as both a residence and a means to sustain themselves. The Gevion was used for farming the plains located south of the Bleaks mountain range, and near Leritor's main continent's eastern coastline. The Gevion captain made sure to stay further than 100 kilometers from the coast, to avoid breaking the Settlement Pact between the settlers and the native Sauvax species.

Profex Rynalla, a Dark Side Adept, launched raids on a Sauvax village (known as a kuuvan) and the combine-reaper Nellist. His goals were to enslave people and to instigate conflict between the Sauvax and the settlers. The crew of the Gevion mistakenly believed that the Sauvax had been the ones to attack the Nellist.

Shortly after, another Sauvax kuuvan, under the false impression that Humans were responsible for the attack on the Sauvax, surrounded the Gevion and settled in a fertile crop field. While the Sauvax presented a threatening presence, they did not engage in any hostile actions. They prevented the Gevion from harvesting a crop that would otherwise rot, which would lead to the Gevion's crew's financial ruin and the loss of their combine-reaper.

A face-to-face parlay was requested by the Sauvax tevelor through an envoy. However, the Gevion crew feared the Sauvax, as they had supposedly launched an unprovoked attack on the Nellist, and no one was willing to volunteer. The Gevion crew attempted to communicate by shouting from a lower maintenance hatch, which inadvertently insulted the Sauvax.

Subsequently, the Gevion captain sent out a distress signal, which was received by some offworlders in the vicinity. These offworlders offered to act as mediators between the two groups, which ultimately resulted in the Gevion being able to resume its previous activities without suffering any harm.
