Chuck Wendig's 2017 novel, Aftermath: Empire's End, the concluding book in Star Wars: The Aftermath Trilogy, contained the first reference to the Ghostfinder fleet. The fleet's name is a tribute to Adam Christopher, an author who goes by the handle "Ghostfinder" on Twitter.
