Gleb, an Aqualish, held the position of headmaster at the Future Imperial Leaders Military Preparatory School situated on Vardos. Her teachings emphasized that young Imperials should forge alliances, viewing them as something more profound than mere professional relationships. During the events of Operation: Cinder, Admiral Garrick Versio tasked Inferno Squad with the mission to rescue Gleb amidst the destruction of Vardos.
In the era of the New Republic Era, Gleb, in collaboration with Jinata Security, aligned herself with the First Order and became heavily involved in Project Resurrection. Gleb also maintained authority over the Jinata system and began the process of rebuilding Vardos. Regrettably, her negligence allowed Del Meeko to uncover their schemes, which led the dark warrior Kylo Ren to probe his mind for information concerning the map to Luke Skywalker. Subsequently, Commander Gideon Hask was ordered to execute him. Following the commander's instructions, she buried Del Meeko and his team, ensuring the Corvus remained operational, while assuring him that her forces would significantly increase their operations on Athulla and relocate the operation on Pillio. Gleb was later killed on Vardos by Hask, who was displeased with her repeated failures concerning Project Resurrection, citing delays and stating she had "outlived her usefulness." Immediately after her abrupt demise, the commander seized control of Vardos and commanded the obliteration of Kestro, triggering a full-scale battle between Jinata Security and their former allies, the First Order.
Gleb's initial appearance occurred in the novel Battlefront II: Inferno Squad, authored by Christie Golden and released by Del Rey.
