"Good Hunting" is a brief narrative penned by Christie Golden and published within the pages of Star Wars Insider issue 142. This tale showcases the characters of Jaina Solo Fel, Tenel Ka Djo, and Allana Solo, while also connecting to the narrative of Troy Denning's book, Crucible.
Jaina Solo Fel, a Jedi Master, along with Tenel Ka Djo, the Hapan Queen Mother, and her daughter Allana Solo, decide to spend a relaxing holiday on the world of Luuhar. However, their peace is disrupted when Allana's pet nexu, named Anji, wanders off into the forest. This leads Jaina, Tenel Ka, and Allana to an encounter with a band of illegal hunters. After subduing the poachers, they are confronted by a Force-sensitive individual. The confrontation is brief, ending when Anji returns and fatally wounds the hunter, protecting Allana. The story concludes with Allana spending quality time with Anji, observed by a joyful Jaina and Tenel Ka.
