A Falleen named Griph developed romantic feelings for a Twi'lek female circa 23 BBY. The Twi'lek planned to elope with the Falleen, escaping her father. After consulting his uncle, who had connections to the criminal organization Black Sun, Griph arranged a meeting with the Twi'lek at a cantina situated on the Mid Rim planet of Ord Mantell. Griph informed her of his uncle's link to Black Sun, but their conversation was cut short by the arrival of several bounty hunters, who had been employed by the Twi'lek's father with the intention to return his daughter. Aiming blasters at the pair, one of the bounty hunters, the Rodian named Neelda, ordered Griph to leave, and the Falleen fled, abandoning his lover to confront the bounty hunters on her own.
Griph's physical characteristics included green skin, green eyes, and black hair that was styled into a ponytail. His clothing consisted of a gold and maroon shirt, blue trousers, black shoes, and a black belt featuring a gold buckle and a blue device.
Griph made an appearance in the comic titled Age of Republic - Jango Fett 1, penned by Jody Houser, with illustrations by Luke Ross, and published by Marvel Comics on January 9, 2019.
