Grizal's moon served as the singular natural satellite orbiting the planetoid known as Grizal. This planetoid resided within both the Mid Rim and the Western Reaches, its location pinpointed as grid square L-17 on the Standard Galactic Grid.
During 231 BBY, Lourna Dee, the Nihil Tempest Runner, positioned her cruiser, named the Lourna Dee, in a geostationary orbit above the moon's dark side. From this vantage point, she communicated via hologram with fellow Tempest Runner Pan Eyta, discussing a scheme to kill Marchion Ro, the Eye of the Nihil. This plan, however, was never executed because Dee had secretly set up Eyta to be ambushed and killed by the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Order on the Mid Rim planet [Cyclor](/article/cyclor]; Eyta was able to escape this fate. Shortly after her exchange with Eyta, Dee journeyed to Grizal to convene with Quin Amarant, a Cloud within her Tempest.
