Imperial scientist officer's uniform

A standard set of attire was donned by scientists employed on projects managed by Imperial Military personnel during the Galactic Empire's era and its aftermath. This attire consisted of a gray tunic, secured with a belt, and a white yoke. The yoke featured a high-standing collar and incorporated pleated details. A patch, affixed to the right shoulder, indicated the specific project assignment of the wearer. Galen Erso wore this uniform while working at the Tarkin Initiative's base located on Eadu. His version of the uniform included two code cylinders inserted into the yoke of the tunic, along with a patch displaying the Tarkin Initiative's insignia.

During the early years of the Empire, another version of this uniform was utilized by medical officers stationed on Wayland. This uniform featured a color scheme of beige, black, and white. Unlike the uniforms worn by members of the Tarkin Initiative, this version incorporated a modified representation of the Kaminoan symbol, as worn by clone cadets. A medical officer named Scalder was seen wearing this uniform when she greeted Chief Medical Scientist Nala Se at the facility. Emerie Karr wore a similar uniform with a gray yoke and red markings, and the dark green coat worn by Doctor Royce Hemlock also had a similar white yoke.

Members of Gideon's Imperial remnant on Nevarro also wore this uniform. Penn Pershing, a clone expert, wore a beige variation of the uniform similar to the one worn by Scalder, with an emblem resembling the Kaminoan emblem worn by clone troopers during training. Two scientists stationed at Moff Gideon's base on Nevarro wore the gray version of the uniform, displaying the same patch as Pershing, but lacking the black stripes that framed the yoke.

On the Death Star, at least one Imperial doctor wore a similar uniform in shades of green. This uniform did not feature any insignia on the shoulders. The doctor wore a light green surgical gown over his uniform while performing surgery on Darth Vader.
